We do not only have local partners but also cultivate intense relations to schools abroad:

The city of Chemnitz is also known as the Saxon Manchester since both towns have a quite common and long industrial history. Manchester is twinned with Chemnitz, which stands to reason for us to also have a partner school in Manchester.

For some years now we have kept up relations with St Matthew's RC both by visiting each other or using modern techniques like video conferences. For further information on the Comenius Regio Project please follow this link.

tl_files/agc_en/SP_Marmier.JPG Since 1991 we have maintained a biennial exchange programme with the Lycée Xavier Marmier, a grammar school in the small town Pontarlier in the French region Franche-Comté. Again the German and French regions are quite similar in many aspects, which perpetually gives topics for mutual discoveries.
